On 8th and 9th August 2026, Professor U Dinesh Kumar, Director-in-Charge of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, along with a group of students, paid a two-day cordial visit to the Sera Jey Monastery. During their visit, they had a special audience with Geshe Tashi Tsethar, the Abbot of Sera Jey Monastery. They also attended the morning prayer session alongside thousands of monks in the prayer hall and observed the evening debate session at the debate courtyard. Additionally, the Education Department of Sera Jey organised a morning session focusing on the monastic institute’s curriculum.
