During the 5th Summer School for children of Tibetan diaspora organized at Sera Jey Tashi Choeling Centre from 26th June to 16th July 2026, the Head of Department of Modern Education Department, Geshe Jampa Choewang presented the completion certificate to Sera Jey Online School’s 8th Grade, second semester students. Although this year, above 60 nos of students have completed the studies, but 3 students could participated the graduation ceremony.
During the ceremony, Sera Jey Monastery’s Abbot, Khen Rinpoche Geshe Tashi Tsethar, was the Chief Guest, and Mr. Gelek Jugney, Representative of Lugsam Tibetan Settlement of Bylakuppe, and Mr. J.P. Urs. President of Indo-Tibetan Friendship Society of Bylakuppe Chapter were Guest of Honour. The ceremony was also attended by the monastery’s Chief Disciplinarian, Chant Master, Chief Administrator, respective Department & Khangtsen Heads and concerned Staffs, summer school students and staffs.
